THUNDERSTICK LIVE AT K.I.T. 12
THUNDERSTICK played at the NWOBHM tribute part of the KEEP IT TRUE Festival on Saturday 25th April 2009.
He was be backed by members of NWOBHM tribute band ROXXCALIBUR, and vocalist HARRY CONKLIN.
He played two SAMSON songs, Bright Lights and Too Close To Rock.
The show was filmed, and will soon be released on DVD, see HERE for a preview.

Former Samson bassist and founder member Chris Aylmer passed away on 9th January 2007.
Thunderstick has made the following statement.

Chris "Oscar Wilde" Aylmer was a very underrated bass player, and the solid foundations that he put down in Samson gave me the freedom to play in my own unique way.

Thanks for being John Entwistle to my Keith Moon Chris. You will be sadly missed.

The new John McCoy cd anthology "Unreal" features a previously unreleased Torme/McCoy/Thunderstick track called "Hard Times" (Not the Samson song of the same name). Another track from the session, "Come Tomorrow" will feature on the reissued Gillan cd "Glory Road" in the near future.

Henrik Johansson and Matthias Reinholdsson from the Swedish Samson Site were recently in England, and I managed to arrange for them to meet Barry for an interview. See it HERE.

Thunderstick would like to thank everybody responsible for his No 36 placing in the June 2005 Classic Rock magazines "50 Greatest Drummers in Rock" feature
